Road Carnage on N3 During Festive Season: Reckless Driving Takes the Blame

Thania Dhoogra, the Operations Manager for the N3TC, highlighted that while there are contributing factors like poor visibility and difficult weather conditions, it is primarily the behaviour of the drivers that is leading to alarming accident statistics. Human errors, including speeding, drunk driving, disregarding traffic rules, and other forms of reckless driving, are cited as the crux of the issue.

These findings underscore the complexities of road safety management – particularly along such a critical and well-traversed route as the N3.
