In a controversial move by the United Kingdom, Julius Malema, the leader of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), has been banned from entering the country. The ban emerged after the EFF was informed via a letter that Malema's stance on what the UK document described as the "genocide of Palestinian people," along with his support for Palestinian resistance movements against Israel, were pivotal reasons for the travel restrictions.
