SIU Launches Investigation into Mpumalanga Education Tender Anomalies

The integrity of Mpumalanga’s Education Department is under scrutiny as the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) initiates a comprehensive investigation into alleged tender irregularities linked with the supply of foodstuffs to six boarding schools in the province. According to SIU spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago, the investigation will closely examine six specific tenders where it's suspected that invoicing anomalies and inappropriate payments occurred.
