"House of Zwide," the popular fashion-themed telenovela on e.tv, experienced a noticeable decrease in viewership in November, shedding over 200,000 viewers. According to TVSA and Broadcast Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) data, the series dipped from 3.8 million viewers in October to 3.5 million in November.

This decline coincided with the introduction of new characters and storylines that stirred the pot within its high-stakes fashion world narrative. Among the newcomers is Palesa, portrayed by Rorisang Mohapi, whose entanglements with Nkosi (Wanda Zuma), the husband of her friend Shoki (Shalate Sekhabi), have added layers of intrigue and betrayal to the plot.

Further complicating the narrative web, Mduduzi Mabaso's character, Msizi, started a controversial relationship with Pearl (Lois du Plessis), much to the chagrin of his sister, Faith Zwide (Winnie Ntshaba). Meanwhile, Ona (Nefisa Mkhabela), another central character, caught Nkosi in a compromising situation with Palesa, which promises to unfold more drama.

Subplots also thickened as characters like Molefe (Motlatsi Mafatshe) faced personal tragedies and turned over a new leaf working at Msizi's car wash after a series of misfortunes. Furthermore, a scandal unfolds with Mampho (Gaisang Noge), as it comes to light that she's been passing off her cousin Thato's (Tebogo Sefora) fashion designs as her own.

Despite these new developments and the slight viewer dip, "House of Zwide" continues to hold its place as the most-watched program on e.tv. The show's ability to weave complex relationships and moral dilemmas against the backdrop of the cutthroat fashion industry keeps viewers coming back.

As we move into December, spoilers hint at climactic revelations surrounding Mampho's deceptions, potentially setting the stage for dramatic showdowns and realignments.

"House of Zwide" seems geared to end the year on a high note, possibly regaining its foothold in viewership numbers, as it continues to evolve its narrative landscape. Fans and critics alike will be watching closely to see how these new plots will affect the show's traction and viewersโ€™ engagement moving forward.
