Later, in a bizarre turn of events, Mabasa drove to the Giyani police station himself, with the suspect still restrained, leading to the arrest of both men. Granted bail at R2,000 by the Giyani magistrate's court on Friday, Mabasa's case was adjourned until October 7 as investigations continue.
