Delving into the specifics of the impact, CHOC East London intends to upgrade kitchen and cold storage facilities allowing them to accept and store large food donations. These upgrades are vital as they help in providing nutritious meals for the children, a critical aspect in combating the side effects of cancer treatment.

Additionally, the hospice beneficiaries plan to extend their compassionate care services into rural areas, thereby casting a wider net of care and support for individuals and families grappling with cancer.
