Notorious Criminal Wanted for Multiple Murders Killed in Shootout with Inanda Police

In a dramatic pre-dawn confrontation in the Lusaka area of Inanda, Durban, a notorious criminal wanted for multiple homicides, met his end in a hail of gunfire as he engaged police officers in a deadly shootout. The 26-year-old male suspect had been the target of an intensive manhunt, linked to three murder counts and an attempted murder charge, and had been successfully tracked down by the diligent Inanda Task Team.

Acting on credible intelligence, the police task team cordoned off the area and advanced toward the hideout where the individual, known for evading capture, was believed to be taking refuge. Upon making their move to apprehend the suspect, officers found themselves facing lethal force, as the suspect, armed with an unlicensed 9mm pistol, reportedly opened fire against them.
