Australia's Foreign Minister Penny Wong issued a stark warning to Israel regarding its ongoing military campaign in Gaza, asserting that the country's international support hinged on its willingness to reassess its approach to the conflict. Addressing the Australian Financial Review Business Summit on Tuesday, Wong echoed sentiments expressed by US President Biden, suggesting that Israel, under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's leadership, was inflicting harm upon itself through its current military strategies.

In October, an act of aggression perpetrated by Hamas sparked a violent confrontation, resulting in the death of 1,200 individuals and the capture of 253 hostages as reported by Israel.
