The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has been vigilantly tracking the movement of a tropical low-pressure system situated in the Mozambique Channel and has issued weather advisories for the period between Tuesday and Thursday of this week.

The tropical low has been lurking between Mozambique and Madagascar, inciting heavy rains and thunderous downpours over Madagascar's eastern coastlines.
