In addition to property crimes, the town has seen an increase in robbery cases with nine individuals arrested for incidents that have occurred across a range of streets including Bird, Victoria, George Blake, Planken, Thubelitsha, Bassi, Makupula, and Nkanini. These robberies appear to be more random in their timing, spreading from Thursday to Sunday, without a specific pattern.
