Keke Palmer’s Ex Darius Jackson Files for Restraining Order, Alleges Abuse

The Hollywood scene has been stirred by recent allegations of domestic abuse involving actress and singer Keke Palmer and her ex-partner, Darius Jackson. In support of his allegations, Jackson has presented a series of text messages in which Palmer allegedly apologizes for hitting him. "I am sorry for hitting you," one of the texts purportedly from Palmer read.

Further, Jackson's account details another encounter from October of the same year, where Palmer is claimed to have "violently gripped" Jackson's arm in an attempt to prevent him from leaving their house. He provided a photograph of the markings on his arm as evidence and cites a text exchange following the incident.

The tumultuous relationship seemingly continued into 2023, with Jackson alleging that Palmer turned verbally abusive once again over a blocked bathroom drain and sustained her tirade via email after Jackson left to avoid further conflict. Moreover, he recalled an instance where Palmer's mother, Sharon Palmer Jackson, was involved in a verbal confrontation that he decided to record, fearing that the situation might escalate.

These mutual accusations have painted a complex picture of the former couple's private life, shifting the narrative from its initial focus when Palmer first accused Jackson of domestic violence, expressing fear for the well-being of their son. Shortly after Palmer's allegations, Jackson publicly stated that he had "repented" and been “baptized,” seeking to address previous actions for which he was accused.
