In a disturbing ordeal, a 53-year-old woman fell victim to a devastating crime when a group of men stormed her residence, stealing a large sum of money meant for her community savings club.

The Police spokesperson, Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, reports that the crime took place in the dead of the night while the victim was asleep. Utilizing the element of surprise, the assailants demanded her banking details and proceeded to illegally obtain her stokvel funds. In the wake of the incident, a case of house robbery is now open, with the Police swiftly initiating a manhunt for the suspects involved.
