The Tampa Police Department and the local community are in an urgent race against time as they continue the search for Miriam Nordlinger, a 72-year-old woman who mysteriously walked away from her home in South Tampa, Florida. Lindsey Mirabal, Miriam's daughter, expressed her disbelief and anguish regarding her mother's unexplained disappearance. However, late that night, in a move that baffled her family, Miriam seemingly orchestrated an effort to conceal her departure by using pillows to mimic her presence in bed.

Surveillance video acquired by local media displayed Nordlinger, dressed in an all-black tracksuit, leaving her residence on South Arrawana Avenue at approximately 10:58 p.m. Her son-in-law, Dino Mirabal, voiced his concerns about her being disoriented and fearful after more than 24 hours of her absence.

Described by the Tampa police as 5-foot-7 and 127 pounds, with short brown hair highlighted blonde and brown eyes, Nordlinger's physical traits have been widely circulated in hopes someone might recognize her.
