Music Mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is making headlines post-Halloween, after publicly thumbing his nose at Warner Bros. with a Batman costume. Combs, arguably had the most talked-about costume, arriving at a party at the Highlight Room dressed as Batman, fully equipped with an armoured bodysuit, a cape and even the iconic Batmobile car.
The choice of the character Batman comes as a "tongue-in-cheek" response to the film studio who had earlier in the week served him with a cease-and-desist letter, disallowing him to dress as the Joker. This was in response to Diddy's viral Joker outfit the previous year, inspired by the famed Heath Ledger interpretation from the 2008 film 'The Dark Knight'.
The 53-year-old music mogul humorously narrated his experience, claiming he received numerous emails from the studio after he donned the Joker outfit. Defiant in his response, Diddy scarpered the idea of not dressing up at all in favour of the studio's famed caped crusader, Batman.
This move ignited multiple responses on social media, fans applauding Diddy's industrious method of rebellion and his inventiveness in reinventing his image, whilst simultaneously throwing shade at Warner Bros. This has sent the internet into a frenzy, with fans and spectators alike praising his audacity and rightly declaring Diddy, this year's Halloween victor.
