An unfolding drama has occurred in KwaZulu-Natal, where a traditional healer affiliate reportedly linked to the mass murders of five people was found dead. This horrific act occurred within an RDP house in Inanda, a district north of Durban. As police officials continue their investigation, valuable information points to the elder, aged in his 60s, being killed amidst a fierce gunfight earlier this week.
Police officials have now taken three men into custody who are allegedly connected to the gruesome crime. According to Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker, a probe led officials to the location in Amawoti, sparking a gunfight upon their arrival. Sadly, the senior individual, presumed to be a traditional healer employed by the apprehended suspects, was fatalistically wounded during the conflict.
This week alone, KwaZulu-Natal has been at the centre of four severe shooting incidents, further blazing a trail of shock and uncertainty within the community's members. The region is now understandably gripped with a sense of apprehension as law enforcement units tirelessly work to deter the cycle of crime.
