The escalation in child murders within the Province, a staggering 48.3% increase from April to June 2023, according to the first-quarter crime statistics, has triggered a wave of concern. In view of this, Reagen Allen, Police Oversight and Community Safety MEC, has called on communities to prioritize the protection of children over the harboring of criminals. Reiterating the need to clamp down on gang activities, he stressed on the importance of steering these destructive elements toward justice.
