Outspoken former porn star, Mia Khalifa, once again finds herself embroiled in controversy, following her recent support for Hamas, which has led to significant career repercussions. Last week, Playboy dropped Khalifa after she reportedly celebrated the Palestinian fighters' attack on a music festival in Israel which led to military retaliation from Israel. Now, adult entertainment platform Pornhub, following suit, has frozen all of Khalifa's earnings on the platform and has announced allocation of those funds towards Israel, as reported by online news website Marca.

Playboy, in a press statement released to the Daily Mail, declared their decision to sever ties with Khalifa, stating, “We encourage free expression and constructive political debate, but we have a zero tolerance policy for hate speech. We expect Mia to understand that her words and actions have consequences.” Consequently, Khalifa's Playboy channel on their creator platform has been deleted.

Khalifa, a Lebanese-American model, was renowned for her outspoken views and controversies, including once labeling Israel as an apartheid state. The ex-porn star faced a backlash a fortnight ago when she asked members of Hamas to film their incursion on Israel. She was previously banned from her native Lebanon in 2018 after recording a pornographic scene while wearing a hijab, which led to her receiving death threats from ISIS.
