Gqeberha Scene of Horrific Family Tragedy Under Investigation

In a startling and tragic incident enveloping a quiet neighbourhood in Sydenham, Gqeberha, a couple was found dead in their home with evidence of gunshot wounds. The Gqeberha police are currently investigating this hair-raising revelation.

The paternal grandmother of one of the deceased individuals discovered the lifeless bodies on Monday afternoon. The victims, identified as Nolitha Dyosi, 49, and her husband, Thansanqa, 51, had failed to wake up, raising suspicion among residents.

Detailing the gruesome scene, Police Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, confirmed that both victims had sustained gunshot wounds. Nolitha was discovered with two gunshot wounds to her chest and stomach, while Thansanqa sustained a single gunshot wound to his face. The weapon believed to have been used in the incident, a 9mm Norinco, was recovered in the room, thereby painting a grim picture of the horrific incident.

According to police reports, the murder weapon belongs to the deceased couple, leading to speculation that this tragic incident may be a murder-suicide case.
