North African nations, including Algeria, Libya, and Morocco have experienced a significant wave of solidarity rallies in response to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza-based militant factions. This surge of support comes as individuals take a stand despite complicated political dynamics within the regions.

Khaled Sofiane, a pro-Palestinian protester from Algeria, shared the sentiment of the Algerian people, stating, "We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are in urgent need of the support from the Arab and Muslim communities."

In Morocco, thousands protested against the national government's normalized ties with Israel. The rally followed a social media post by Prince Moulay Hicham El Alaoui, cousin of the Moroccan Monarch and known pro-Palestinian advocate, expressing his support for Palestine. Describing the sentiment of the protesting Moroccans, Rachid Fellouli conveyed, "This is a united call for Morocco to end normalisation, to urgently act as the chair of the Jerusalem Committee, to cease liaisons with Israel, and withdraw from all agreements."

Meanwhile, Libya demonstrated its unwavering support for Palestine by illuminating the 5 El-Emad towers in the colours of the Palestinian flag. The Libyan government has always been vocal about its support for Palestine and its non-recognition of Israel. This sentiment was echoed by a pro-Palestinian protester named Elijah who said, "We are a long way from Palestine...all we can do is speak up for the Palestinian people."

In the face of conflict, the international community continues to observe the resilience of the Palestinians. As the situation escalates, the plea for support from around the globe grows louder.
