South Africans Urged by CSA to Back Proteas Amidst 2023 Cricket World Cup

As the starting horn of the 2023 Cricket World Cup approaches, Pholetsi Moseki, Chief Executive Officer of Cricket South Africa (CSA) is imploring the people of South Africa to align their energies and support behind the Proteas. The opening game against Sri Lanka in India on the coming Saturday is already rippling with excitement.

With animated enthusiasm, Moseki extolled the significance of the World Cup and narrated the profound nature of the tournament. Stating that "the world cup is not just another tournament. It's a tapestry of dreams, endeavours, and the indomitable spirit that defines South African cricket," he stressed the importance of collective spirit and support during these pivotal games.

Pleading for unity and shared dedication, Moseki urged the populous to rally their backing for the team. According to him, "our collective energies can function as the twelfth man, supporting our team in every move."

Moseki also extended an invigorating message to the Proteas players, reassuring them of the nation's unwavering support.
