Instagram sensation, YouTuber, and South African influencer, Mihlali Ndamase, has voiced her side of the story regarding allegations of homewrecking, gold-digging, and assault in a recent episode of Showmax's 'Unfollowed'.
Hosted by Thembekile Mrototo, the talkshow dove deep into allegations and speculations that have clouded Ndamase's reputation in the local entertainment industry. Controversially entangled in romantic links with married businessman, Leeroy Sidambe, the influencer did not hesitate to defend herself when questioned. Contrary to popular belief, Ndamase asserts it was Sidambe who chose her, insisting it was "not my place to wait. I'm not the one who's married."
Brushing off assumptions that she was with Sidambe for his money, Ndamase confidently stated that she is financially independent. The social media star clarified that she bases her relationships on the character of the person, especially how they treat her, musing, "There's a lot of money in the world. But do they respect women?" A recently shared video of Sidambe praising his ‘wife’ Ndamase for her independence further validates her claims.
Despite constant public scrutiny surrounding their relationship, the Instagram star stated that public opinions hold no ground in her reality, candidly sharing, "People's opinions have nothing to do with my reality… When people have nothing to come at you about, then they are going to find something to constantly dig at."
Recent allegations by blogger Musa Khawula that Ndamase physically assaulted him prior to the Hollywoodbets Durban July event were outright dismissed by her, raising a mocking question, "Have you seen me assaulting anyone?" then indifferently responding that she didn't even know the blogger.
