Elderly Solo Farmer Brutally Attacked in Great Brak River: A Critical Case

A senior citizen living alone is currently battling for his life in a hospital in Mossel Bay, following a severe attack and robbery on his farm in the outskirts of Great Brak River. The incident is believed to have happened on Sunday, revealed police spokesperson, Sergeant Lauriane Botha.

The victim, found by his neighbour on a Monday was supposed to have an appointment with the latter. The neighbour, noticing an unusual scene of the farm's garage and back door open, decided further to inspect the area, before discovering the critically injured senior inside the house. The victim, who's in his seventies, was left unattended after the horrifying attack.

The man's white Opel Astra car is also reported missing after the incident, leading the police to suspect the incident may be linked to the theft. Although the total number of suspects implicated in the case is still undetermined, Sergeant Botha stated that the Great Brak River police are actively investigating a case of house robbery linked to the incident.
