President Xi Jinping Mandates Comprehensive Modernization of China's Defense Systems

In a significant move ahead of China's Army Day, President Xi Jinping has underscored the critical need to modernize the country's defense mechanisms, particularly at the borders, coastal areas, and airspace. Chairing a session with the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Committee, Xi outlined a vision for a robust and resilient defense infrastructure that not only bolsters national security but also promotes economic and social progress.

At the session, Xi Jinping extended Army Day greetings to the entire military spectrum, including auxiliary forces, underscoring the Communist Party of China Central Committee's and Central Military Commission's collective salute to their commitment and service.
