The flight, designated FA200, departed Cape Town International Airport at 7:20 AM, filled with 184 passengers expecting an uneventful journey to Lanseria. However, at cruising altitude, the crew encountered a dire situation. According to Kirby Gordon, the spokesperson for FlySafair, a male passenger, roughly 60 years old, unexpectedly lost consciousness in mid-flight.
