Selby Bokaba stated that the city "takes this matter very seriously and has adopted a firm stance against those who engage in water theft and illegal connections." The city's commitment to providing an uninterrupted and reliable water supply to all its residents was stressed, alongside a plea for the community to desist from these activities and to be vigilant by reporting any suspicious behavior or unauthorized connections.
