Escalating Robberies Force Closure of Nelson Mandela Bay Schools

Nelson Mandela Bay, a metropolitan municipality named after the iconic South African President and anti-apartheid revolutionary, has been struck by a series of criminal incidents that significantly impacted its educational establishments. The Department of Education has taken the bold step of closing down 10 township schools within the district due to a rising trend of robberies that not only threatens the safety of the staff but also hampers educational operations.
