TV icon Paris Hilton has shared her sorrow and frustration over public response to a recent photograph of her 8-month-old son, Phoenix Barron. She described the discomfort and sadness induced by the hurtful reactions of some of her followers.
On 19th October, Hilton posted a collection of photographs of her son, whom she shares with husband Carter Reum, on Instagram to celebrate his first journey to New York City. A TikTok user highlighted the criticism the post attracted, prompting a heartfelt response from Hilton, who clarified that her "angel is perfectly healthy" and "just has a large brain."
Hilton further expressed her sentiments in an Instagram Story post, where she condemned targeting children. She described the deep pain caused by the comments: "This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe," she emphasised.
Expressing her trials as a new mom under the social media gaze, Hilton highlighted her commitment to fostering an environment of love, respect, and acceptance. The TV personality lamented the cruel remarks: “If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful."
Hilton, despite the challenges, is infinitely grateful for her son Phoenix, whom she declared as the "biggest blessing" in her life. She expressed her dreams of motherhood and emphasised the joy Phoenix brings her daily. She signed off with a plea for kindness and empathy, affectionately referring to her son as a figure of innocence.
Paris and Reum had welcomed Phoenix on Jan. 16 via surrogacy, announcing his arrival via an Instagram post.
