For the first time, Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s documentary, “Rise: The Siya Kolisi Story” is scheduled to screen outside his native country of South Africa. The venue is the high-profile Kimpton St Honoré situated in Paris, the city now home to Kolisi, his wife Rachel, and their children. The international premiere aims to raise funds to support the continued work of the Kolisi Foundation.
Ever since its debut on Showmax in March, directed by renowned director Tebogo Malope known for shows such as “Queen Sono”, "Rise: The Siya Kolisi Story" shared Kolisi’s inspirational journey from his humble beginnings to attaining a stature renowned around the world.
Rachel Kolisi took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the support received so far, reminiscing about the very first screening in Zwide, were Siya was raised. She also mentioned the efforts made by the Kolisi Foundation along with IHG Hotels to make this event an unforgettable one.
