In stark contrast, the north-eastern provinces of South Africa, including KwaZulu-Natal, are setting up for a scorcher. Amidst humid, dry and windy conditions, disaster management teams are on high alert for potential fires.

Despite these extreme conditions, SAWS has assured residents that these warmer locations can expect the cooler weather to descend upon them as temperatures begin to plunge around provinces such as Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Setting the stage for ever-changing weather patterns, Mother Nature continues her dramatic theatrical performance, leaving us all in awe of her unpredictable moods.
